Col Levander has worked within the Recruitment Industry for nearly 30 years, specifically the contingent staffing market.
His recruitment career commenced working from an entry level consulting and resourcing position to Branch, State, Regional and National roles in Operations and Sales working for small niche businesses, National companies and Global organisations. Col has also started, built and grown four recruitment agencies over this time.
In 2010, Col turned his hands on experience in recruitment to his passion with technology where he identified value in providing an informed technology conversation with real life “Best Practice” experience in the recruitment market sector.
As a visionary and entrepreneur, Col has co-developed software solutions aligned specifically to our industry and is the trusted source that business leaders turn to for independent technology advice and consulting services.

Carl is one of our developers working behind the scenes in Cebu, Philippines. Carl completed his Bachelor of Science in Information Technology in 2012 and joined the Ratescalc team in early 2019.
Prior to working for us, Carl was a programmer for Rameses Systems. Carl works with the IT team to fix any faults and enhance Ratescalc's capabilities by adding new features within the application using his skills in PHP, MySQL and Java skills.
Outside work, Carl enjoys an active lifestyle, playing basket ball on weekends and adding to his comic collection!
In his spare time Doyle enjoys spending time with his family.
Ruth has an extensive background encompassing recruitment, L&D and HR consulting; she qualified as an HR professional whilst working for Virgin in the UK, completing her post-grad CIPD qualification and began her recruitment career shortly thereafter, spending 5 years with a small consultancy in the City of London where she focused on placing IT contractors into banking.
She has since worked for and consulted to a wide variety of corporate and Not-For-Profit organisations in both the UK and Australia, including Talent2 and Hydrogen, before landing in Sydney in early 2009. After ten wonderful years Ruth very much considers herself a proud Aussie, and joins the Ratescalc business as Strategic Solutions Lead, focusing on the white collar & professional services recruitment markets.
Mary-Ellen is Ratescalc's Client Services and Marketing Manager and works mainly behind the scenes in the creative corners developing our marketing strategies, increasing our social footprint and communicating our success to the World!
Mary-Ellen begun her recruitment industry career in the UK with a move to Australia in late August 2006 where she continued working within the Recruitment Industry and experiencing the complex Australian Labour Market.
Mary-Ellen joined the Ratescalc family in 2016 and since then she has held a few key positions within our organisation. She is a versatile marketing professional with exceptional knowledge and experience on a wide range of skills including social media marketing, website development, marketing collateral, marketing campaigns, project coordination, digital media marketing, customer retention, market research, digital analytics and event marketing.
Donna’s role as Client Services Manager for Ratescalc is focused both on sales and on-boarding of new clients as well as support for existing Ratescalc clients. Donna has had 20+ years in recruitment which has spanned both internal and agency recruitment in a diverse client base across Australia.
Her recruitment career has focused on blue and white collar roles in the mining and construction industries - high volume recruitment, executive search, permanent and contract recruitment in construction, mining, and heavy engineering industries in both public and private organisations. Given this diverse background, Donna's key principles remain the same – providing exemplary service to her clients.
For over 15 years, Chantal has been part of the recruitment industry; as a recruiter, a trainer and business owner.
During her years as a consultant, she developed a love of taking rookie recruiters under her wing and showing them the marvels of the industry. This passion brought her to a specialised career in recruitment training. Chantal has trained both in-house, in a national training role, as well as externally through her own recruitment training business and recruitment software providers. Her training comes with genuine insight, with first-hand experience of the modern recruitment industry and the technology that supports it.
Every organisation is different, and every person in it is unique. Much like Ratescalc, Chantal’s training is tailored to meet the requirements of the business and users, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. Her training is delivered with simple effectiveness, to minimise time away from the business and ensure the learning is sustainable beyond the virtual classroom.
